* One of the care groups is planning a family gym night on Thursday November 17th at MEI Elementary School, and has invited the whole church to be a part of it! More details to follow!
* Church Directory – I am putting together our 2012 Church directory. For the remaining Sundays in October, I will have a sheet for you to fill in your contact information. I would also like to include a family picture so we can put faces and names together. I will have my camera at church this Sunday and 30th and will be taking a quick shot of you right after church. So if I didn’t catch you last week, make sure you see me after the service this week!
Women’s Ministry
*We had a wonderful first night of Boot Camp this past Monday with over 30 women showing up! It’s still not too late to join, just come by next Monday evening at 6:30 and join in!
* Women’s Retreat – Our retreat to Cedar Springs is coming up quickly! We have quite of few of you signed up already, which is awesome! If you’re on the fence about whether you should come or not… you should! We always have an amazing time! This fall, our topic is “Hardships, Healing, and Hope. If you would like to come please email me and let me know in the next week. The cost for this retreat is $115 per person. This includes lodging for two nights as well as five delicious meals. All I need now is names. Payment can be made as late as Nov. 1st. Our retreat dates are Nov.11-13. Once you have signed up, I will send you more details.
Men’s Ministry
* Men’s Breakfast’s will be starting up again in November. They meet every second Saturday morning of the month. The next breakfast is on Nov. 12th.
Prayer Ministry
*This an amazing opportunity to lift up our church in prayer. Life is busy and life can get challenging and we need God so much. If you would like to be part of this ministry, please contact the church at info@augustonchurch.com
Missions
We are having a Mission’s Sunday on Nov. 6th! This will be a great opportunity to get to know who are missionaries are and to catch up on how God is using them to further His kingdom.
